Platforms like SharePoint or Dropbox can be very useful in this regard, as well as the ineffable GDrive.

Tools like Git allow teams to manage different versions of files, facilitating collaboration and minimizing conflicts between different contributions, or upload documents to the cloud and update them directly there, again GDrive is a good option, although it doesn’t work as well when the documents are presentations.
